I would rock a Corolla for a daily driver. I think you might be able to get TRD superchargers for them. Supercharged Corolla would be a nice sleeper.
Mazdaspeed Proteges are going for mad cheap nowadays. $2000 rebate til the end of the year plus they didn't sell well and are out of production already. The Mazda3 comes out in November to replace the Protege but there's no Mazdaspeed version (yet). Top-level Mazda3 has 17" rims, 160 hp 2.3 liter, etc. Looks pretty sessy.
