man, my coworkers say i'm dressed "banana republic". I thought that means plain or bland or something, but i guess it means expensive/overpricedh:

the most expensive place i shop at is tj maxx. pants and sweaters <= $30, tshirts <= $15. fawking cargo pants that i wear for work were $7.99 each: durable as hell, all kinds of pockets to hold my stuff in, detachable bottom-halfs of teh pant legs to keep you cool, and theyre cheap as hell.

Banana Republic is nowhere near "expensive designer clothes" -- try a little Chanel, Prada, Dior, Gucci, Galliano, Versace... then we'll talk about expensive.

needless to say, i usually shop at Old Navy. i'm tall (5'9½") with a long inseam and ON jeans are actually long enough for me!

 

Almost all of my dress/ work clothes is from Nordstrom's b/c they tailor it for me for free. Most of my khakis are around $40/ dress pants around $100/ suits between $300-$600 (on sale from Nordstrom)/ dress shirts ~$40 each/ polos ~$35 each.

Weekend clothes Mavi jeans from Nordstrom/ basic t-shirts from pretty much anywhere (A&F/Gap/BR/Aero/logo no names)

Thats pretty much it. I am pretty brand/ store loyal. But I am always shopping sales.

 

If it's not Levi's or a tee shirt with some smartass comment on it, its an Aloha Shirt Shop Hawaiian Shirt or in the winter anybody's flannel that the panels match up on. Don't like mismatched patterns.
