I've got this guy at work who has little money and looking for a car. He came to me and said he found this 91 Crx and the seller will give it to him for $800 but with an additional $200 to swap in another engine. I was like

I said #1 what kind of engine is he putting in?
Who does a good swap for $200?
Is he going to run the VIN?

He couldn't answer any of my questions.

I told him to go back and ask a bunch of questions before he hands over any money.

He just thought b/c it was a Honda, it should be good on gas and such.

If any of you CRX owners have some advice for a 91, let me know and I can relay it to him.

For $200 I doubt its anything more than another stock engine.
