Confession time
when i was in jr high me and my friends would break into schools and steal things. one night we set off the silent alarm and didnt know it until cops showed up and we took off running. soon after there was police helicopter right on behind us shining it's spot light on the ground only a few hundred feet away. i hid in a storm drain all night.
When I get an autograph (celebrity, sports player, etc) ... I keep my physical cool, most of the time ... but my head releases some kind of adrenaline / nervous endorphin. The bigger the "star" (to me, of course), the more blitzed out I get. It takes a good 15 minutes for me to rest.
Interesting. You know, I experience the same thing, but what triggers the effect is a little different. It happens to me when someone else is incredibly focused on doing something. It's weird, so I looked it up online years ago and found only one discussion thread where people experienced the same sensation. Some time later, a Facebook group was made that now has 4k+ members. If this isn't really the same thing that happens to you, then I suppose this post acts as my confession: my head gets all tingly sometimes. Lol.
I get that feeling too. I looked it up a long time ago and couldn't find anything. Then I looked it up again a couple of weeks ago and found a huge community. The are a ton of videos on YouTube that try to give people that feeling. They call it ASMR. I get it the strongest when I watch certain people write.
Another one:
In high school, I was terrible at flirting with girls. Whatever I would do always backfired on me. This is the worst instance I can remember. I believe it was freshman year, it was after school, and a bunch of us were just hanging around. I don't remember how it started, but this girl and I were chasing each other around some trees, and it was fall/early winter so there were leaves on the ground. Eventually we stopped, and she was sitting on the ground, and I came up behind her and threw a big piles of leaves on her head. What I didn't know is those leave hadn't been disturbed in a while and they were sitting right on top of an ant hill. So they were covered in ants, and she ended up being covered in ants.
She never spoke to me again.
