IMO, satellite is better quality, but if it storms bad, you loose signal (atleast it does here in the mountains) but we cant have cable due to location.

I've checked prices and satellite is cheaper than digital cable...and better. We've had satellite TV since forever, starting with the old 12' dish and we've had Dish Network for about >6 years now....signal probably went out 2-3 times 'cause of storms, and only for a few seconds to a few minutes.

nevermind....not h card its a "sports card" that comes with directv and hughes. basically you can hack the card and get free satelite (including ppv and pr0n) if you know the right people or can do it yourself. beware though cause it does get zapped often but is still worth it.
