Decent steady day at work. Just waiting to get off. Weather is shit. 73 degrees and humid, been raining all week too. Going to a friends bday party tonight, but not drinking though. I quit.

 

woke up earlier than normal (8am ) to go to an interview with a counselor at school. going to watch zero dark thirty in a bit. by myself.

Twas a good day. Filled up the Saab, bought some ribs at Whole Foods, and right now I'm soldering connections on a switching layout that I'm building to take to the AARRclub show/sale on the 16/17 of Feb.

 

got a new job at work.

no longer the customer service guy who answers the phone all day long... three years paid off.

i'm the guy who listens to calls when it says "calls may be recorded for quality purposes"

100x better. work with a close team, do my own thing, no one bitching at me. take my own breaks, own lunch, work my own hours.

been a great friday.

drinking some vodka and diet tonic's with the girlfriend, watching tv.

 

not bad. just grouted my bathroom floor.

 

Been a good day. Was paid my performance bonus today. Even though I found out the numbers last month, seeing the money hit my account is always a giddy feeling. I banked the whole thing to savings (well -- until I close on my house) and celebrated by taking my wife out for froyo.
