I want a digi cam for christmas, but i'm not sure which one is good, dont know much about em, i was thinking a sony cybershot 5.0 mp would be nice. here are the few that i've been lookin at, my price range is from 300-400 probably.

I have a DSC-S85. I love Sony digicams. The only beef I have with it is they take a long time to turn on and sometimes its hard to take an action shot cuz they are a big slow.

 

the p10 is 499!!! that alot of money, and i dont see much difference between the p10 and the p92...do you?

 

what about the DSC V1?

i'll look atht he dsc vi, no you can susggest, i'm open to anything, i dont know abuot cannons i know they are great cameras but if you can give me some info on them thats cool, i'm not set on getting a sony, i just want a nice 3.2+ mp camera that is small and not bulky. Also can you cahnge the lens on these's sony's or add like UV filters and stuff like that?

you can't change the lense on any thing that was suggested thus far except the Canon Digital Rebel but that's $900 without a lens.

but i think you meant a threaded lens so you can screw on a filter

 

the sony dsc one would be nice but its 699!! WOW

i just glanced at the s400 before you said that and it looks sweet not to big, 4.0 mp and its 449 sounds goood... i want a camera that has great detal, my friend showed me one, i forget which one but he set the lens directly ontop of my watch, and it took a clear ass picture of the face and it was touching it, i was shocked at how great the picture came out, no fuss or bad pixels effects... I want something that can do the same thing.

 

oh i think i know which one your friend has.. crap i can't remember who made it but i've seen that done except with a diamond ring and you could literally see the flaw that was in the diamond :shocked:
