His knee is destroyed.
Yup.

Not when it's the same knee...

I bet he'll be fine. Shanny will just have to pull him a bit earlier in the future, or he'll be donating his own patellar tendon to graft into Griffin's knee.
Sure they can be stronger, on the first instance. Now as the 2nd injury to the same spot, it's going to be weaker. And as thin as that dude's legs are, he's always going to be prone to injury from hits.

This.

with the teams remaining, here's what I'd like to see for "the big game" ...

Drew's "sexy time" match-up ...
New England vs San Francisco

Drew's "I'll watch it, but I don't want to hear shit about Ray Lewis' 'last ride' or 'The Harbaugh Bowl'"
Baltimore vs San Francisco

Drew's "Rape Bowl" match-up (Tom Brady throws for 999,999 yards and 208 TD's, you heard it here first)
New England vs Atlanta

Drew's "oh god why" match-up ... How can you possibly have 5 hours of pre-game coverage on this crap? Everything will be centered around Ray Lewis and his "last ride".
Baltimore vs Atlanta

Dear Lord the Broncos played atrociously. Aside from kick returns and a decent showing from our 3rd-string running back, we played poorly in all facets. Credit to Baltimore for playing a good game and taking advantage of the opportunities that Denver gave them.

New England - SF here we come.

God, I hope so.

I was hoping for any of the combinations ...
Denver vs San Francisco
Denver vs Seattle
New England vs San Francisco
New England vs Seattle

Only because the conference championship matches would have been awesome.

All my personal preference, but the following Super Bowls drove me insane ...

Steelers vs Cardinals (2009) - Mostly for the Steelers, good to see the Cardinals make it
Steelers vs Packers (2011) - Mostly for the Steelers, good to see a deserving Aaron Rodgers make it
Patriots vs Giants (rematch, 2012) - Giants did not deserve it, they just got "hot" at the right time ... fucking slackers

I thought they were good games, based strictly on the football aspect of them.
