I think I got my ass smoked by a Cavalier tonight...
So on the way to eat I'm driving down the highway. From behind going pretty fast was this stock looking red Cavalier with black bumpers and looked completely normal. It was going fast with a car full of people. So I decide to speed up and sort of **** with him and see what happens. So I go past him and than later he comes up behind me. We sort of match speeds than go at it. I was in 5th at the time and as soon as I downshifted to 4th he flew by me and seemed to really haul ass.
Now I don't drag race and I know I'm not so good at racing from a roll, maybe I should have went down to 3rd (though I'm afraid to mess up my tranny), but seriously this shit must have had something done to it to be able to pull that hard with like 4 or 5 people in the car. I didn't even try ****ing with him once he flew by me. I just hit the brakes and went the limit. :happysad:

My car is very far from stock. I can't imagine that Cavalier having any more HP than I did. I had my windows up and my stereo on pretty loud so I never heard any blow off valve or anything. But if his was auto it would make sense since he got me on the downshift when I wasn't accelerating. I didn't really shift that fast either, I wasn't thinking about it too much.
