Default any one good with computers...

i got some virus thing or something thru AIM and i cant seem to get rid of it, what it does is changes my homepage on IE to "realphx.com" and puts the same link in my profile, i tried clearing history deleting files and cookies and shutting down but it didnt work, any ideas?

Sometimes that shit is actually a program. Go to the My Computer > Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs. Try and find something that seems like what that would be and delete it.

let see, it's prolly one of those stupid plugin that you download, Do like 4thgen hactch to you and uninstall some suspicous software, you can also reset you home page by go to Tools > Internet Option or Control Panel > internet Option, then change your start page from there.

if you goto tools...internet options...& set your homepage to what you want then close the browser & reopen it. if it goes back to that "realphx.com" ,then you got a virus or a program in there.

try like 4thgen said. if that doesn't work, you might have to uninstall & reinstall IE. if you need to do that, PM me for detailed instructions along w/ what OS you are using

i got rid of it, temporarily by uninstalling aim, im gonna see if its back when i redownload
