Breaking a lease...?
Hey:
Anyone ever break a lease without or with reduced penalty?
I just bought a rental property yesterday. I have a friend I would like to rent to, however, he just signed a lease a few months ago.
So, I was wondering if anyone has broke their lease agreement without or with reduced penalty.
Help me out! Share your ideas and/or experiences! Thanks in advance!

I had a 12 month lease once and broke it 2 months early. As long as they found someone to move in when I left I got my last month and security back. They did and I got my $$ plus interest.
