It may just be me, but I drove my friend's 525. That night I was also driving the 96 civic EX. The BMW would start losing traction in turns WAAAAY before the Civic even started screetching tires. It may be me, but I really didn't like it. The car is fast [Z3 3.0 swap] but it's slow because it's an automatic. It's really weird, but I know the Sol could keep up with it, because it's really slow for a BMW.

 

:werd: to what most people have been saying. yes they do have some issues just like any other car, but they look increadible, and drive even better. the engines are soooo smooth, every thing is driver oriented and the power in the Ms is unbelievable. they really are the ultimate driving machines.

 

I drive my roommates 3 series pretty often.
Honestly, I prefer driving my mom's 2000 accord ex over her BMW.

I did like the Z4 though. It was a fun car.

I doubt I'll ever buy a BMW though. For the price, they just don't really do anything for me...
