part of the reason why all of BDI's threads turn to shit is because all the so called "OGs" give him shit when, in this instance, he didn't do anything wrong.

What bothered me was derek's first response. If someone, say, Rick, had posted the same exact thread title, I'm sure you'd be more than willing to post a picture, whether you were at work or not. Granted, BDI's response was less than mature, but still, he didn't do anything wrong, so if you aren't going to post a picture, atleast don't dog on him when he didn't do anything (again, in this instance).

anyway, I think I should contribute to this thread after saying that, so here is my old car's engine bay. My new car has pretty much the same setup.

Was derek's first response justified? I don't think it was. He did it merely because of who the thread creator was. And granted, BDI is an idiot, and he only makes himself look worse by defending himself, but frankly it was uncalled for.

Don't get me wrong, I don't like BDIs more than anyone else, but jesus he just wanted to see engine bays. All you had to do was NOT POST if you didn't want to show yours. Besides, there are 500,000 other threads created during the day, while people are at work, that can be responded to. I just thought it was weak is all.

I dont see why someone would be embarassed to show off their engine bay. I can understand the pointlessness of posting a dirty and/or completely stock engine or something like that, where everyone and their mom has seen one..

But some people take pride when they pop the hood, even if it is stock. I wouldn't mind seeing Dakar's, and some of the turbo teg's around here, just to name a few.
