That's crazy. How old were the drivers? 16? In the past, I've always worried that members at car meets would do crazy stunts on the street in an attempt to show off. Thankfully, everyone has been civilized and respectful of traffic laws at all the norcal meets I've been to.

also, i remember rick telling a story of where he went to an m3 meet, and they were driving pretty damn wrecklessly, so he backed off from the pack.

 

one jdmc meet i went too, a guy slide off the highway into a ditch in an ek hb. he was ok, but it sucked.

yep and it happened at 2 different E46 M3 meets.

those E46 M3 guys are friggin nuts!

They were doing 100+mph on the back roads. Tony knows which road I've taken him on it in his car at a sane pace (no faster than 50mph).

Could I have kept up? yeah, but I wan't about to risk my life and anyone elses just to make myself feel good.

I backed wayy off and didn't exceed 60mph at the most.

the speed limit on that road is 50mph.

i swore I will never go to another E46 M3 meet/drive after that. that was about 2 years ago.
