Autocrossing is about the driver not the car. So it doesn't matter what kind of car you have a good drive can make a slow car fast.
And actually this year on three occassions I was like 10-15 seconds faster than a supercharged Ferrari that showed up at our events with my 1991 Civic Si with a MONSTER PULLING 100hp

You could autocross your Caddilac and still have fun. Actually a (our past SCCA Susquehanna President) guy ran his Lincoln Town Car (Type R) in our region in FS (against Firebirds, Mustangs, and other muscle cars) and he regularlly beat them. It was very very funny.
