same here, that would be enough for me to get one the day they drop the price. keep in mind that the holiday season isn't even here yet so they might do what you propose price wise. I think a lot of people would dump their ps2 in favor of a ps3 if the price came down to $400.

the 60GB model is being phased out. They're going with an 80 soon. The 80gb model will also come with MotoStorm and 1 extra controller for $599.
The price is going back up, but they're compensating that with a bigger HDD, a $60 game, and a $50 controller.
Someone go rag on the 360 and their 3 red lights.
