My name is Chad Norris and here is my story and affiliation with 5 Star.

I have been a detail enthusiast for quite some time and have done it for a living in years past. I have always been interested in new polishes, gadgets, etc. to help me in maintaining my car.

I have a Volvo 855 Turbo wagon (sorry it's not a honda, though I used to own a civic hatchback) It's a '94 and has 160k miles. I do most of the maintenance on it myself and on a site that I get most of my info from there is a 5 Star banner. I decided to try it since if it didn't work as claimed I could always get my money back. Plus being that my brother is a pilot in the Navy, who uses it on their radar systems, I figured it was worth a try.

I tried it and it has lived up to the its claims. I have had it on my car for 9+ months now and haven't washed it with anything other than water and a wash mitt. The dirt, bugs (those are the biggest nuisance), tar, sap, and general road grime come off with a few swipes similar to a dry marker board. My car looks just as good and shiny as when I first applied it. It's simple to apply and works similarly to other good polishes. What separates 5 Star is the durability and ease of applying the product and maintaining the finish of your car. Many other products take multiple steps with lots of waiting in between. You can put 5 Star on in about an hour.

As a result of my experience I contacted Glenn Canady the owner of 5 Star Technologies and asked if I could help the company get more exposure for the product as I am located here in California. Many a great product had a beginning and I believe this is the start of 5 Star gaining the same reputation. It is our desire to earn the trust of this and other similar forums so that people can try/use our product being assured that we are available to help, explain and share the great benefits of using 5 Star Shine.

There are many skeptics that knock our product without any experience using it. We have a US Patent and are used by the Navy. Most importantly, as the testimonies show, it works as we claim. There are many great products out there and I'm not here to knock them, but if you're interested in having a long term, easy to keep clean and maintain finish, 5 Star Shine is the only thing that you need!

I have a code set up that gives anyone who wants to purchase 5 Star a significant discount of $20. Just enter the customer code 'VIPDISCOUNTS' at checkout.

Thanks for taking the time to read my lengthy post here and also thanks for giving us the opportunity to earn your business and trust.

Hi, I was wondering if anyone out there who has purchased our system would be willing to do a write-up on their results. I have a good thread going on at the www.nicoclub.com site and am hoping to get one going here as well. Thanks!

Hey how's it going? I will do that if you would make me a commitment. If you do like the results you will be willing to buy a kit for another of your cars or give it to someone.
If this is agreeable, PM me your address and I will have a kit sent out to you.

Here's a link to a couple pics of my wife's 4runner after washing. Keep in mind that since I've treated it I've only washed it with water in the 9 months we've owned it. (treated in Sept 2003)
