Default Removing dealer decal

Does anyone have any tips on how to remove a dealer decal? It's on the trunk and I really don't want to screw up the paint.

Thanks in advance

They make decal remover stuff. I can't think of what its called though. Have you been to Autopia? They might be able to help you. There are a few of the guys on that board that work for dealerships and I'm sure they have to remove them off trade ins and stuff.

use a hair dryer and peel it off with your finger nails. If there is any residue left over, wax will take it right off.

Don't really trust those liquid sticker removers. I keep thinking that it'll take the paint off as well. But for others that have a badge instead of a sticker, dental floss does wonders in removing the dealer badge.
