I was thinking of painting the "DOHC" on the black plastic trim on my car. They're located on the on the front of the trim, just in front of the door, on both fenders.

I was thinking of using either a small bottle of white paint or dealer matched Acura paint for my car (red). Please vote on whether I should not paint it at all, paint it red or paint it white. Thanks guys, any opinions are welcome.

i would suggest painting the ENTIRE moldings to match your car if they are blacka nd your car is read but DO NOT paint the DOHC part...ew

 

I already did paint them white, a few weeks ago. I still have to touch it up but it looks alright. Everyone tells me it looks clean, especially since it matches my white HAN sticker on the drivers side windshield. I'd really like to paint my entire moldings red in the future, just don't have the balls right now. Has anyone painted their own moldings? They have steps to doing it on G2IC, but it seems harder than they make it out to be...

It was an idea from a friend, and I saw a sticky (tip) on how to do it on G2IC, so figured I'm not the only one...but hey, it's kind of original where I live. I don't know why everyone seems to hate the idea of it.

why the **** would you write that on there....no one cares to see that your car is a DOHC. It doesnt make it any faster. Thats just like people with thier stupid "HONDA" banners....of course its a honda, you are just advertising that its slow.

 

You sir, are a fawking moron. The letters DOHC are already imprinted on the black trim. I just filled them in with some paint. And yes you stupid ass, DOHC is of course better than SOHC. Civic Si's are of course faster than Civic EX's. And why are you on this forum if you think that all Hondas are slow? I would like to see your car so I could criticize the hell out of it. It's noobs like you that need to get a little information in their tiny brains before they open their big mouths.
