Default Shammy Question

Hey what's up. I have a quick question for you guy's about keeping your shammy's clean. I accidentally got some grease on the shammy and am wondering if there are any tricks that can help get this off. Water was no help and I didn't want it to spread. Thanks for your help.

I just throw mine in the washing machine like everything else. No harm done to mine, and it's nice and clean.

Oh and BTW, it's spelled chamois.

yeah , just throw it in the wash. That is what i do. But I changed to a synthetic material. It doesn't smell in the long run.
