shaving decals?

shaving decals?
I tried searching but couldnt find anything. How would I go about shaving off a dohc like sticker?? I got the SOHC vtec stickers on my 98EX but I dont know if I want them anymore. Is there a way to do it, or do I have to bring it to a shop???
