For all of the people here running clear corners, are any of you running the stock clear bulbs in front(hazard lights) with amber turn signals ? I asked a few people and they said that this was illegal, but I wanted to run it past you guys...I just dont know how it could be illegal, if at night time, your turn signals stay lit up and they are still amber ? I could understand if both bulbs were changed to clear, but do you gus think I'll have a problem with the cops running clear hazards and amber turn signals ?

 

I have the oem bulbs in mine. Never had a problem.

 

its illegal but i don't think a cop would bother you unless they were a real ass

 

My hazards are white. No problems yet.

 

I run clear corners with orange bulbs in it. I hate white blinkers/hazards.

 

when i had my clears, i just used the white bulbs. its not as visble with the clears. and yea its illegal here in ca.

I kept the stock bulbs in for like a year after i put in my clears, until i finally got around to getting ambers, and i never had any problems.

 

in hawaii you have to have the amber bulbs to get a safety check...

 

I have clears, and I hated how the corner bulb 194/168 wouldnt light up the entire area...so I just took those out completely. I now use yellow 1157 bulbs in my clears. It looks good...no problems with the po-po yet! :thumbup:

 

there is no way in hell a cop can stop you for having orange blinking corners. that is a fing fact the clear part of it is by far nothing illegal, only if they are blinking though thats another story.

Just a hint for u peeps who have clear corners. This is what i did to my clear corner bulbs. Since i go the clear corners i alwas notice i could still see the amber bulb blinging around in there. So what i did was take some transpart smoke colored spray paint(found at your nearest perfomance shop), and i sprayd the bulbs with it. I think u guys will be very happy with the results, get back to me if u have tried it or are going to, tell me how u lie it!
