Default What wax/polish are you using?

Just curious as to what type of wax/polish you are using for your car. I need to get my car back to what it was, and am curious as to what products you have been happiest with. When I bought my '99 white Accord, I used the Finish First products and was quite happy with them. However, since that time, it is time to buy more, and I am wondering what you are using. I would love to hear from someone who has used FF and has found a reason to move to another line. If there is nothing compelling, I will go back.

If you care to take the time, I would like to know what you did to prep. I do use clay, so there is no need to detail your steps.

Thanks and regards,

David Liske

You might want to restart the whole cleaning process on your car and start over by doing this and then just washing once a week or so and waxing once a month or so. (I wash every week, wax every two weeks, and polish every four).

* Wash - Any Car Soap
* Claybar - Clay Magic
* Swirl Remove - If Swirls Are Bad. Meguiars #9 or 3M Swirl Mark Remover
* Polish - Meguiars # 7 Show Car Glaze, S100 Shine Enhancing
* Wax - S100 Paste Wax - the absolute best caranuba out. Or Meguiars # 26 Liquid or a sealant like Klasse, or something.

I use all Meguiar's products, except for Simple Green and Eagle 1 tire stuff.

I use Meguiar's car wash, Gold Class polish, quick detailer, swirl remover. I think GC is one of best shelf polishes.

I agree... However, I have the P21S (same as S100) kit... minus the claybar.

Max,

How do you like the Zaino line? I have considered it in the past, but I am curious as to how long-lasting it is and the ease of use in applying it.
