what kind of buffer do you guys have?
its about time i purchase one and not borrow my friends
whats a good reliable brand, with different rpm settings and decent and good priced pads and what not??

I've got a Dewalt DW849. It has variable speed from 0 to 3000 rpm, and has a dial to set your speed, and a switch to hold the trigger. I got it from ebay from $175. This dude at my work has a Snap On buffer which is much quiter than mine but they are probably more expensive.
