lol your an idiot, do a search under my name and you will see the cars I have owned, and you will realize that what I said is true, its a base civic with steel wheels and a fart cannon exhaust, its nothing to brag about

Multiple fogs look like crap, especially aftermarket ones from autozone. I've never seen Fit rims on a Civic before and now I'm glad for that.

 

Paint the front lip, the side mirrors and the side skirts body color. Remove the decals and your mudflaps.
Ditch the smurf blue headlamp bulbs and burn that horribly cheap-looking chrome grille.

The Fit wheels aren't my first choice, but they're the best thing you've got at the moment.
But for the love of God, get rid of those blue lugnuts. :facepalm:

 

pretty harsh but i like the input from dave.. the cars going to be completely repainted once i get a spray gun for my compressor.. but i dont get why everyone thinks my civic doesn't look good unless its looks like every other civic?

can i see what you guys drive? just curious.








and as for mr. name caller.. i'm not trying to brag about my car, its a civic. i was looking for input, because i would like to know what other people think about it so i can possibly change some things about it. but if you would like to "brag" about all the cool cars you have owned go ahead.

 

I tend to shoot from the hip when it comes to these threads.
I think that silver was one of the better OEM colors for the EM1 Civic, I wouldn't go changing it arbitrarily.

As for looking like every other civic, there's nothing that can help that.
The best you can do is present a car that looks like it was modified with a plan.
Right now you've got a jumble of exterior colors (black, silver, chrome and blue).

Think about cohesion and mod the car logically.

It's a 97 DC4. Adriatic Blue Pearl on gunmetal alloys.
I've been meaning to paint my sideskirts for a couple years now; at some point I'll get around to it.

 

im not changing the color just repainting it, it has a few small rust spots and normal surface scratches. Everything will get painted silver.

and as for the whole logical plan thing. I originally had black and chrome rims and nothing blue which had a little better color theme. but they were 17's so i decided to get rid of them asap. but i like the blue i think it goes well with the silver and should be a lot cleaner once the whole car is silver -no black. and yeah maybe the blue lugnuts are a little over kill..


and i can definitely see where you are coming from. your integra, very clean, and looks very nice. and its nothing crazy or different and there's also nothing that anyone can rag on.

Even now, driving an Integra means you're one thieving bastard away from becoming a statistic. So IMO, there is something to be said for subtlety.

I like the design of the lip you've got. If you were to paint it and the grille,recenter your license plate and settle on one pair of foglights mounted at the far corners of the lower bumper opening, that'd go a long way toward cleaning things up.
