Default How much did you pay?

I have a full fiberglass body kit (front, ss, back) and an EG9 Ferio spoiler that I want put on and painted stock white... I went to a po-dunk body shop (recommended.... never again) and they wanted $1000 to do it all, but they kept talking about TF&TF and I wanted to fawking kick them for even lumping me in that crowd :madfawk:

Anyhow.... is this the kind of pricing I should expect? I'm in Montgomery, AL so there's pretty much no one out here that will do it. I'm willing to drive to Northern FL or GA or something to get it done right.

Any suggestions?

And (as the sub says) how much did you pay to get your kit fitted and painted?

Thanks!

I know a couple great shops here in Atlanta, but they'd be just as expensive. You get what you pay for when it comes to painting.

Not at the shop I went to... they were rednecks to the bone and didn't know ish...

I'm willing to pay that amount if I KNOW it will be perfect when it's done. I want to be able to trust the place that's doing it.

I'm specifically looking for a place that's done this stuff before (worked with fiberglass and fitted a kit). I can't find anyone in Montgomery that has done it.

Check out www.uabcustomcars.com. Most of the cars are not my style, but it'll show you what they are capable of.
