Default Dammit

I was out a at local coffee place tonight. I was backing my car out of the spot to leave and saw a car in my rear view, so I stopped. When I didn't see him anymore, I continued to back up. The guy was in my blind spot and I hit him. It's nothing bad just a scuff, so I gave him my info and said I'd like to keep it out of insurance.

Now the scuff should have some blue to it right? since my car is blue.
Secondly, there's nothing on my car. The tails, bumper, hatch, rear quater......everything is fine.
Third, The scuff is big but doesn't look all that bad to me. It can most likely be buffed out, correct?

it really depends, you can always try to buff it out first...but you know people these days...probably will have a dent in it by the time he calls you

did you take pics or get witnesses by any chance?

My friend was there and there where not dents. I know he'll stick up for me.
