rear quarter panel
i need to replace my rear quarter panel on my 95 integra(2door). question is- anyone know of someone in southern california that does good body work with good prices, the guy i just went to wants 500 for the new panel, and 500 for labor, im hoping i can get this done for cheaper, anyone know?
it is an expensive job just becuase it's not a bolt on part. They have to cut your old fender off, weld on a new one, and of course paint it. But deffinately get like 3 quotes just to make sure you get a good price.
This is not a job you want to skip out on. If they don't do it properly, rust could form where the welds are done, alignment could be off. Like Madlow said, its not like bolting a fender on. Cutting the welds and welding in the new qp is a lengthy job so don't expect it to be cheap. $1000 actually doesn't sound bad if they do it right. Good luck.
