I don't think it's a kit they make for cars, it's actually a custom job done by a body shop.

i read in a magazine recently, that someone fabricated a kit for the door for their civic i believe and is in the process of developing a mass produced product to release to the public aftermarket.

hahah, i agree with u a 100% on that one antarius, those things are definetly not my thing. It doesnt seem very practical at all. Even with the conversion, the car wasn't made for those types of doors so entering and exitin the car seems like a difficult task.

Those are gullwing doors you're thinking of.
The Lambo doors are scissors style, so they really don't extend out from the body. Your car would have less dings from the Lambo-ricers.

Edit-- Found a picture

Wow, that's actually a pretty nice mod. Think it's better than that "SUICIDE TRUNK FLIP FLOP" thing...

That does look pretty cool. It's getting much more popular now. A couple of years back, I saw a Talon with the doors like that and was told it cost him $12K to get it done like that.

What I'm curious about is how do you latch the doors now? I've never actually seen them open and close so I'm not sure about the arc the door travels in.
