i read in a magazine recently, that someone fabricated a kit for the door for their civic i believe and is in the process of developing a mass produced product to release to the public aftermarket.

The Lambo doors are scissors style, so they really don't extend out from the body. Your car would have less dings from the Lambo-ricers.

Wow, that's actually a pretty nice mod. Think it's better than that "SUICIDE TRUNK FLIP FLOP" thing...

That does look pretty cool. It's getting much more popular now. A couple of years back, I saw a Talon with the doors like that and was told it cost him $12K to get it done like that.
What I'm curious about is how do you latch the doors now? I've never actually seen them open and close so I'm not sure about the arc the door travels in.
