If they are yellow/amber, they are pretty visable. A friend has them on a CL.

I've seen them and they light the same as or almost as bright as your front blinkers. A lot of SUV's and VW's come with them stock, so if you can find a car and see for yourself.

I have a set that I got off ebay. I don't know the name brand but they are nice and bright. The led is different than the ones in the pic, and resemble the shape on the ones from mercedes. I've seen the cheaper ones, with the smaller led, and they are not very bright. Here is a pic (not a good one I realize), but maybe it'll help you determine which ones they are. Sorry it's the only hosted pic I have

Oh yeah, I wish I had a pic of them actually blinking. They're just as visible as the front turn signals. Actually they are even visible from behind the car. They light up the crack between the mirror and housing. pretty cool! These are also power mirrors.

No prob. Good Luck with them! Installing is a *****! I ran mine down inside the door with the speaker wire loom, and then where the loom goes into the firewall, I ran the wires behind the fender, and fender well to the wiring for the front turn signals. Nice and clean.
