Default painting valve cover?

im painting my 94 gsr valve cover. what do i use to cover the letters? using tape takes to long with cutting out each letter. and what do i use to seal the valve cover so it wont have oil leaks?

You could always paint over it and then sand it down. Honestly, if you aren't even will to take the time to cut out the letters, you probably won't take the time to do a good paintjob.

To seal it off, just replace all the gaskets. How else would you seal it?

Use vasaline on a Q-tip and go on each letter with it then tissue in the holes and then paint it...just take your time

Exactly.......vasoline works well, or a razor blade to just strip/scrape the paint off the letters.

Remember to use VHT paint.

Also, you will want a new valve cover gasket with some honda bond on any uneven surfaces.
