Default Looking for a cleaner look

I did have a longer post typed, but it didn't go through and I lost it.. here's a recap.

Okay, so basically I'm looking to get a cleaner, less ricey look. I started with removing the spoiler.

Next I want to do a drop, and in the spring time have it repainted (uncle owns a shop)

But for now, what are some inexpensive things I can do (myself, preferably) to get it looking cleaner?

No, yes, no, no way, no, no. You just gave me the formula for everyone elses vehicle.

Are you able to drive without a parent yet?

Nothing you can really do for cheap, Rear bumper isnt really attractive IMO seems like it sticks to far out but maybe its just me, Not really digging the tail lights but have you ever considered smoking them with a tint spray? might smooth out the back end with it being all black

Here's another shot..

I kinda do like the rear lights, or at least I prefer them over stock. I'd want to find another pair before I decided to change those (again, cleaner).

The headlights I also want to change out. I dont really mind these ones, just that they fog up and dont shine as bright.

the wheels and front bumper are awfull, sell to another rice boy and go back to OEM for now. If money shows its face, a nice drop on some dark 5 spoke wheels would be a vast improvment. IMO your a LONG way away from the "clean" look

Ya, you need to drop the rudeness...

The rims are hidious, replace them.
The body kit screams rice from as far as someone can see you coming, replace it.

You're right on the money with a drop. And if you decide to keep the body kit, expect to ruin that front end a few months after you've dropped it.

If you're going to paint it anyway, I'd do exactly what ColeM suggested: get some OEM body parts and have those painted on your car. You could likely find a local ricer with stock body parts that would trade you WITH some cash for the parts you have. You may think that you'd look like everyone else, but as I recall, you bought the car this way and if you're really trying to derice it, then you need to remove the body kit.

Tail lights, been rice for about 5 years now. I'll leave that there.

It already looks MUCH better without that whale tail on there. :goodjob:

Good luck on your quest.

My apologies on the rudeness, I did not appreciate ColeM's hasty reply.

Here's what Im thinking. I want to keep it sporty, but also want to lose the riceness. I got this car for a good price, even with all the crap on it. I like how the car looks either way.

I want to buy JDM headlights with black housings, redo the window tint (all around, dark), adjustable height springs, bumpers + lip kits, and in the spring time, repaint. Black is really starting to get on my nerves, and not just because of the kids that keep coming over here and wanting to borrow everything. So would anyone recommend a color? If I did keep it black, I would go with midnight black w/o pearls.

I actually love these rims, keeping them for a while. It just sucks that they have a little curb rash on them from the last guy. I have no problem with the taillights. Those would be at the end of my list.

WestCoastStyle, what do you mean about my taillights? RandomTask, thanks for the links!

Today I found someone to take my wing off my hands.

I'm on my way guys, just give me some time

Altezzas are likely on the top of the charts for rice. If you want to clean up the look, take Randomtasks's advice and put the OEM / red/clear back on there.

I admire your devotion and I really hope that you get the car looking like you want it to.
