Question about projectors

Default Question about projectors

Is it possible to open up the projector piece and replace the bulb or whatever it is inside there to an even brighter one? mine are bright but not bright enough, i want something that is bright like blue or purple hid lights... im no baller so i cant shell out $800+on actual hid lights h:

Ive been wondering the same thing myself.. I havent been able to fine a way to pull the assembly out yet, so I couldn't tell ya.

For what car? On my old sharkeyes for my '95 they had round covers that you twised off to get to the bulbs. The only thing you can hope for is a higher wattage H3, most likely. H3's aren't that bright as it is and if you go nuts on the bulb wattage you're likely to fry your stock wiring.

I hated the output on my projections and went back to stock. They look better anyway.

yeah..... i put in a 8000k h3 bulb into my projectors and its much brigther and bluer

its an ef civic. i looked at the assembly and its like a solid piece besides where the wires are located, i know a friend of mine said he was messing around with the projectors he had on his integra and turned some knob thing and the color on his lights got brighter and had a rainbow effect...
