Default lambo doors on a honda

whats up everyone...i have tried to put lambo doors on my 99 v6 coupe accord and i was wondering if there has to be any custom cutting or welding...i installed on door and the front sticks out like an inch...we tried rebolting, adjusting, everything you can think of...do you think its the hinges itself that dont properly allign to the holes on the doors? anyone recommend welding the hinge on when the door is closed?

if it doesn't fit, then that's a sign that lambo doors SHOULDN'T BE ON A HONDA!

What kit did you buy? I will say this, if you went with a cheap Ebay kit or a no name brand, dont even put them on, you will dent your fenders, warpr them, and have nothing but issues. I just had a Decah kit installed when mine was in the body shop getting all new work done, and the guy who installed them said this was the best kit he has ever put on, everything lined right up and fits the car perfect. When it comes to the doors you get what you pay for. Decah or Vertical Door Inc are the 2 best out there, Decah created the first kits so I went with them, Mine was $1200 but if you buy a cheap kit you will spend twice that in body shop bills.

But to answer your question, again if its a good kit, there is no cutting or welding, each kit is premade with the exact measurements for that year and make, even the shocks are preset for the factory weight of that years door weight.

Agreed, My Decah kit fit quite well, only problem i ever had was when the door was dropped it would be knocked out of alignment a lil bit.

I paid 999 for my kit directly from Decah

Decah is the absolute minimum level of quality/fit/finish I would go...no offense to cobbcustomz, the decah kit is pretty damn nice...but there are better ($$$$$) kits out there.

yea yo i bought mine from ebay..the olny thing is that the front of te door sticks out..i think that if i shift the whole hiinge downwards and weld it on then it will fit...because shit yo, i paid 490 for the hinges, and i do some small custom work, but i just need to make sure first.the only thing that im not sure is if its str8 to weld it on...cuz once you mess up then your screwed..what do you think..i dont plan o taking them off once their on..

I wouldnt put them on if you bought the under $500 Ebay kits, Im telling you, I have seen these kits in person. I am heavy in the show scene and I have seen first hand what the cheap kits can do to a car, but thats your choice, but you will spend ALOT more in body repairs and headache then if you just spend the money right the first time.

i understand and all but one thing is solid though, when i put one hinge on,the fender was never touched by the door..once you adjust the hinge to the proper level it wont meet with the fender at all...but i see what you are saying...now i have a 650 pound shock...that shit will run the bowflex outta business...the tricep workout you get from that shock trying to pull it down is crazy...but i will most likely get them professionally installed by someone who knows what they are doing...the guy whose painting my car on now said that the body kit i brought him is a pain in the ass..(ebay)..so i guess imma stay away from ebay when it comes to parts and pieces like that...

Ebay is a great plave to buy from when buying parts, just dont buy no name brand items. 75% of my aftermarket parts are Ebay, Hell even my Wings West Lip Kit was shippe direct from Wings West from a Ebay dealer, There are many great deals on there, just be careful on what you buy. Body kits are just as bad as lambo hinges on Ebay, if you see its to cheap on a price, you will have issues come install day
