Default WW body kit /collision damage questions

A few months ago I had a WW Racing series body kit with the vented front air dam installed on my GSR Sedan. This was done in conjunction with a repairs that were required after a run in with a deer .

While I was driving next to someone at freeway speeds, the noticed that my front end/bumper seemed to be vibrating/jumping a little. Now I notice that when I press back against the bumper (near the acura emblem) there is play in the whole bumper resulting in a backward and downward rotation of the whole assembly. I can push the whole thing about 1/8". I stopped by the body shop and their position is that that this is inevitable due to the fact that aftermarket parts are involved (referring to the WW kit). He claims that lower mounting points cannot be used so there is nothing t brace the lower part of the bumper. Does anyone else have the same problem?

Also, as part of the repairs done to my car, they had to pull and re-install the windshield. When I got the car back, there were two 1/8 gaps in the weather stripping near each upper corner of the windshield. When I asked about this, they replied that Honda/Acura does not have a direct replacement part and because of this they had to use an aftermarket part. THey then go on to claim that aftermarket parts are not allowed be exactly the same as OEM so this is why the gaps are "always" present. This seems REALLY unlikely to me. If the above were true, wouldn't you make the part to long so it could be adjusted by cutting it back instead. (they "fixed" it by using some black epoxy to fill in the gaps).

So, has anyone ever had a windshield pulled/replaced and had tow 1/8" gaps in the weatherstripping at the top of the windshield?

Thanks!!!

in response to tha lower spots not being able to be used...

in some cases this is tru.. although-- all they ahve to do is fabricate something.. it req a lil extra work.. but thats when u know u took it to tha wrong place... a good shop would have taken tha time to make sure everythign fit right.... & if there were any probs they would have notified YOU, tha customer during tha installation of tha kit.

find a better shop..

-- get a quote from another shop(shop2)-- on tha damages not fixed by tha 1st shop(shop1) - apon recieving tha quote from shop2, bring it to shop1 tell them what tha deal is... they are supposed to fix anythign they didnt do correctly... if any other problems talk to lawyer... or if u tell shop1 that u know they did it worong & u need to have it fixed properly.. & they say no.. report them to tha Better Business beurer -- then they will be screwed!!
