Default Our First Ariel Atom Build Up

just wanted to show you guys what we been working on for the past week.....

One of our customer is in mad love with import cars... Honda...
He hired us to be his own personal mechanic/tuner for his cars. with that title comes alot of privledges though, one of them being driving these cars.

Our shop recieved this car as a rolling chassis from UK on Nov 23, 2005, we have to prep the engine (JDM RSX TYPE R) then install it, then after that take it to the track to set the car up when it opens in March.

This car will be registrered, tagged, and street driven!

and all the padding on the bars is just a precaution against accidental nicks and will be removed before driving

The Car = Ariel Atom
The Heart = JDM RSX TYPE R K20A
Company = Xtreme Autosports
Locaton = Tulsa, Oklahoma
Atom Owner = James Sharp
Mechanic/Tuner = Luke Pierce

Enjoy!

Just got back from our first Main Street and Highway runs

Why drive at night? All the tracks are close for season and we have no tag..

we can't just drive up and down on street. after all.. this is Ariel Atom..

enjoy...

why did you opt for the n/a k20a instead of the supercharged b18cR it usually runs?

I'm curious as to how the engine was attached to the frame.
