Default new paint?

well, the front end of my integra has taken some dmg over the years from the road, bugs, you know the common problems associated with with driving for a long time, well anyway, was wondering if anyone ever painted their front end to fix all that, and how much approx did it cost and how did it look compared to the rest of the car not being painted

200-500 bucks depending on condition of bumper, shop, and other things... too many variables just go out and find out....and its a given that the color will be slightly off because its newer paint but you really cant notice

Depending on the shop, it could range from 150 to 500 bucks for just the front bumper.

The thing you have to remember is, that when you get this done, the front might not match perfectly because of the age of the paint of the rest of the car, compared to the newly painted front bumper.

just remember, you can't wax a freshly painted car/car part until after 30 days of it being painted.

Not neccessarily. If it was baked in an updraft paintbooth, you can wax fresh paint 5-10 hours after it comes out of the booth.

For paint curing naturally, it's best to wait one month.

I got my entire hatch painted gloss black for $300 No maaco paint here either. Just a reg gloss black though, no pearls or sparkles or what not. Doing the prep and body work yourself makes sure it comes out good and significantly dropps the price since all they do is mask and paint.

it's still recommended that you wait 30 days before waxing just to make sure that all the chemicals and everything cure out of the paint. I'd rather be safe than sorry.
