My wife's 99 accord got the emblem jacked. They are a dime a dozen on ebay, so no problems there. The problem is, the actual plastic mount that the emblem sits on was jacked too! So that leaves 2 questions. Where can I get another one (green), and how would you go about removing the mount so I know how the punks took it and stop it from happening again (ie. can I put a screw through the back?) Please help....

 

oh yeah i forgot to mention, i asked the dealer and they want $99.

On the grill there is a plastic piece that sits dead center. The "H" sits on the top of this. I need to get this piece if possible. Junkyard is a possibility but how do I get it off? Are there screws, tabs, or 3M tape holding that thing on?

The mount you are looking for is attached to the bumper by two screws that are screwed in from the back side. The chrome emblem attaches to the mount by two small push nuts. You can find them all here:
