Don't worry. He isn't planning on it. Him and I both agree that hood pins would totally ruin a perfectly good carbon fiber hood.

ok now think about what you just said.... :thinking: if carbon fiber hoods melted due to engine or solar heat then they wouldnt be worth the 3-400 dollars they charge... carbon fiber isnt like plastic, it can withstand alot of stuff, ive seen guys run trucks with trailers on them over cf hoods and not one scratch.

yes i have the full oem lip kit all orginal from acura, the rubber thing is the hood seal in the front, when u look at your stock hood it has this rubber gasket looking thing over the front.
