Don't worry. He isn't planning on it. Him and I both agree that hood pins would totally ruin a perfectly good carbon fiber hood.

 

Cool, is there any chance of it melting from the heat?

 

ok now think about what you just said.... :thinking: if carbon fiber hoods melted due to engine or solar heat then they wouldnt be worth the 3-400 dollars they charge... carbon fiber isnt like plastic, it can withstand alot of stuff, ive seen guys run trucks with trailers on them over cf hoods and not one scratch.

 

What is this rubber thing Schmoo speaks of? Your car looks great. Did you happen to get the rear valences as well or no?

 

yeah i have the front sides, and rears check the other thread with the updated pics, of my oem lip kit and vis carbon fiber hood

 

yes i have the full oem lip kit all orginal from acura, the rubber thing is the hood seal in the front, when u look at your stock hood it has this rubber gasket looking thing over the front.
