Lowering spring vs. Coilovers?
The reason why I opted for coilovers is because I didn't like the way my lowering springs settled after being on the car for awhile. It started to become lower on the driver side. I'm guessing because I hardly ever had anybody ride in the passenger side of the car, so weight was mostly on the left side. At least with coilovers, I can still keep the car the same height all the way around.
That is true, when I first got springs, they sagged a little over time. The rates themselves were a bit soft, so rubbing was an issue. My original plan was to track the car once the coils were installed, however plans changed. Having gone with the Omnipowers, I've kept the car low without any rubbing issues- with or without passengers.
