I would recommend 20%, if it is legal. Kinda dark at night, but tolerable. 35% is too light during the day.

I had my g/f's 05 Accord LXSE tinted with 30%. Not quite dark enough, but okay.

I had my non-Honda tinted with 15% sides, 30% tint on the back window, and 30% strip on windshield. The 15% kinda sucks at night, but I wanted 20%, which was not available. The 30% on the back was to make backing up at night easier, and to have my car semi-legal in CO.

Be aware that Llumar tint comes with like three stages of warranty, or at least a local tint places qouted me that. Something like 2 year, 5 year, and lifetime. The longer the warranty, the higher the price. I think the prices were $229, $289, and $349. I went elsewhere. Paying that much for lifetime warranty was stupid.

I went to a local independent tinter, recommended on ClubDSM. Johnson brand film, lifetime warranty, 30% shade, all windows except the windshield, for $175. Actually this tinter used to work at the above Llumar dealer. He said they haul @$$ on the job so they can get as many jobs in as possible. Since he is independent, and his name is on the line, he does the job right. Fast too. I have taken three cars to him so far. Great work on all of them.

dawrenn, is that llumar tint? Do you have your front winshield tinted as well?

Would 20% in the back 3 windows and 35% in the front 2 look weird? If I ever re-tint mine, I don't want to worry about tickets.

I think 20% is the perfect darkness. 35% is to light and 5% is way to dark. You can't even see out of 5% at night. In most states, 20% is illeagal.
