Default two tone

i bought a 90 accord and since the previous owner was in a front end accident, the hood is black and the car is white. i dont mind this so much, but i was wondering if there is way to get the hood shiny. right now it is sort of dull. i tried waxing it, but tht only lasted a couple days. also, how would i go about removing rust spots over the tires?
Thanks a bunch

Just get the hood painted to match the car...it won't cost that much. And what do you mean rust spots over the tires? You mean on the fender? If it's just surface rust, you'll need to sand that out and repaint it. If it's going through the metal and looks really bad, you'll need to grind it, put some Por15 on it, then patch it & paint it. It all depends on how bad it is.

really though, if it 's nasty 1/4 panel rust, you have to cut al lof it out. moistior wil lfind it, and it will spread. here's what i had to fix on both side of my sol... http://www.cardomain.com/ride/823606/1

it took a couple extra weeks, but no more rust, and it looks very nice.
