Project Make-Over *In Progress*
Well...the time has come to finally begin the process of redoing my car. I'm replacing my front bumper (with an OEM one) and my hood with a ViS CF one. All I got done today is the basic disassemble and test fitting of my hood. I took a few pics of the progress and will being updating this thread with new pics every now and then. I should be done by Thursday or Friday. I'll be doing all of the disassembling, sanding & prepping...my dad will be doing the body work (just a few minor dings) and painting it. Since I'm going to be repainting the Whole car, I'm going back with the stock VSM.
Enjoy.
Enjoy.
Not bad man, please don't shave the spoiler off though, i think it looks good. I wish I knew how to do that kind of stuff. Would have been a whole lot cheaper than what I paid for my paintjob. Good luck bro!

Here are a few pics of what my Integra looks like because of a shitty paint job from before I bought it.

I'll have some more updates either later today/tonight or early tomorrow.
Well I got some accomplished yesterday. I took a few pics, but left my camera there. I got all of the edges of my moldings feathered out where the paint was peeling (from a very poor paint job before I got the car). My dad found some areas on my hatch that looked kind of funny...it turned out to be where a previous owner had a wing on it, then patched the holes with just masking tape & bondo. So we fixed that, and re-covered them. I also shaved the "ACURA" symbol on the hatch. Today, I want to block sand all of the areas where dents were fixed, start sanding down the whole car & sand down my rocker panels.

Well....I've had a lot of work done to my car in the past couple of days. First off, I chipped off a bunch of paint that was peeling on my passenger door, and man...it was a lot. Whoever prepped the car for paint before I owned it did a really shitty job. So I had to go and get all of those chipping edges down. My dad did some minor body work & filled in some areas with Bondo. Then I proceeded to sand down my whole car with a DA sander using 320 grit sand paper.
After that, my dad threw some primer on some places of the car, so I block sanded them. He re-primered them again, and I block sanded them again. Then my dad shaved my Front Bumper Emblem holes
and I sanded it to get it ready for paint. He also shaved the "acura" emblem off of my hatch. I'm leaving the Acura "A" symbol...but took off the "ACURA" one. Then I wet sanded the whole car with 500 grit sand paper, to smooth out the 320 scratches. Lastly, I wet sanded the edges with a Gray Scotchbrite & Bon Ami (Using bon ami while doing that helps clean the surface). My dad painted my front bumper, rocker panels & spoiler today. All I have to do tomorrow is tape it up, have it sprayed...then put it together. I'll post pics tomorrow evening when it's completed. Thanks for looking.
