I personally like the look of 18" wheels on an accord. Go for a 18x7.5" wheel with 225/40/18" tires.

If you're on a budget, you could lower your car using Tein Lowering springs or a set of H&R's. Mate those with a set of Koni of KYB shocks and you're good to go. This setup should lower your car about 2" while still maintaining good ride characteristics. If you could spend a little more, I'd opt for a set of coilovers.

It's all about personal preference. Accords can justify 18's, but personally I prefer 17's with a nice drop that's about a finger gap above the tire...maybe a touch lower. It's like randomtask77 said, it's about your budget. If you have $2,000 to spend on wheels/tires & suspension, go with Coilovers. If you only have $1,000...go with some springs and new shocks. Figure out what YOU want first, then ask for suggestions.
