Man you guys are soooooo missing the point, but I guess this goes back to the whole thing of defining clean and defining rice and blah blah blah. Just because something is different than OEM doesn't make it rice, to me a car is clean if it doesn't have freakin yellow windshield wipers, altezzas, vinyl, aluminum wings, and the like. Since when does clean have to be oem?

 

everyone has their own likes and dislikes. I think the car looks fine.. and i love the color :goodjob: . I see way too many silver rsxs. Other than that keep us posted on all the goodies ur gettin for it

I have a vis hood....it doesn't have to have vents to be vis

 

i like that cf hood, people are just jdm/oem nuts and its fucking stupid. personally i would say to hell with looks right now. you have a new car and it looks good. i would go for more power. i dont know what is made for an rsx yet, but im sure you could put together a turbo kit or buy one seeing as how there is not fuel managem,ent system that you could use other than maybe an afc hack or a shitty fmu. or you could go the other route and upgrade suspension. taking turns fast is always fun. just make sure to tkae your time with any project, i can tell you from experience that its less of a headace that way

im not a jdm/oem nut, i just think sticking a giant scoop/dip in your hood is stupid unless it is functional like the wrx sti's for example. and id much rather be called a jdm/oem nut than a ricer.

 

So what does the hood scoop on a WRX STi do? Sends air to the motor to keep it cool, thats the same thing a hood scoop will do on every other car, correct? Well unless you get one of those :ghey: ones that sticks on with 3M tape.
