Need Answers (Wheels)
:irock:So most people think I should go with 17's. What I was trying to do was put 18's on and thought it would take up more space in the fender making the car look lower, but if you guys think 17's would look just as good then I will have to think about it. All the pics I have seen of accords with 17's it makes the car look like is has small rims and there is always a big gap in the fender well. I will look at some more pics and make a decision.
17's still look pretty goofy, but not as much as 18's. You will definitely rub with 18's and you will have to roll the fenders big time to accomodate the wider tire. If you get a nice drop, 17's will have no gap but you may still need to roll the fenders.
Ok I need a serious answer now on what size Blitz wheels I need to put on my 97 accord se?? I have been told that 18" wheels would be too big so I am thinking of 17's now. What should I do and would 17's look to small because my car is not lowered.
18s would visually make it look higher and worse than if you had 17s. the ratio of wheel gap vs tire sidewall height is greater with 18s.
can i ask why you aren't lowered? it would do more for looks with stock wheels than 17s or 18s with no drop.

Well would it look good with 17's and dropped maybe 1.5"? The reason why i was skeptical on whether to lower it or not is because I am going to put a Xenon body kit on it and I thought that with a body kit and it lowered it might scrape a lot. If I put lowering springs on it and a camber kit with the 17" wheels would that be good? I like how you have your white accord set up so I am kind of going by what yours looks like. Thats why I sent you the private message. Anyway if you could help me out with this I would appreciate it.
I HAVE A PIC OF THE BODY KIT BELOW. TELL ME WHAT YOU THINK.

My cousin has 17's on her honda and it looks perfect. 18's ...to large and it makes your car look cheesy. Also, you will experience so many problems. Most people think "well come on 18's are 1 inch more than 17's how much worse could it be?" It's not good!
i don't think a body kit with 17s would look good with stock height. i think you at least need to drop with pro-kits to make it look decent. as i told you in the PM, i have pro-kits with neuspeed konis and dropped roughly 1.5-1.75". i rarely scrape with this setup. if you pair the pro-kits with tokicos, bilsteins, or kyb agx's, you'll be closer to the 1.2" spec of the springs and should be good to go even with that kit.
i got mine for $525 shipped from importhorizon.com a couple of years ago. their price is higher now. you can get them for $512 shipped from seller asw88 on ebay. we bought SP3s from that seller for my sister's 98 coupe and got very good service. let's see if this ebay link works: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...spagename=WDVW
