My car has alot of dents, dings, and scrathes on it. There is paint on the trunk that does not match the factory paint: Here is an old pic of my car:



I also got rear ended (no damage to the car) just to the bumper. If you look closely at this pic:



You can see scratches on the bumper.

I really don't have the money right to get the car repainted the stock color since I am saving up for a swap and I was wondering if I should paint my car flat black? Please MODS do not close this, I have already searched and did not really get an answer.

 

I like that color. Personally the thought that always pops into my head as I see a car driving by with flat black is 'cheap junker'. Thats just my personal opinion.

 

save up some money and get it painted the right way

 

:werd: I think the paint doesn't look too bad, IMHO.

 

satin black like the skunk 2 car....no clear coat. Part of my rear bumper looks that way and it's hot! I'm in Va if you want to see it in a month after i repaint the rest of my car.

Well I have enough money for both, maybe he does too. let him decide to do the paint or the swap. One may be more important to him than the other. Or maybe he will do both, one right after the other. Why assume he's broke and can only pay for one thing. I spent $3,000 on my car last month and will spend at least that next month.
