Confused about paint???
I am looking for dupli-color/plasti-kote touch up paint for my Vogue silver metallic 99 Civic and when I go to both of there websites that color does not exist, The only color that is listed is: NH623M Satin Silver M and the color code for my car is NH583M. Why is that? Is there a color that is close? When I look up the paint for a 2000 Civic there are 3 different color silvers for that but none are what I am looking for.
NH623M Satin Silver M
NH638M Starlight Silver M
RP31M Signet Silver M
What should I do?
Does this color look close to the color of my car: This is suppose to be starlight silver

Still here... sorta...
Silver is a very tough color to match even when you're using the exact same color because it has a very high metallic content. Us telling you based on pictures will never be accurate... :happysad:

Yeah, you're better off taking off the bumper...going to an automotive paint store...buying 8 oz. of paint & some reducer and painting it yourself. It'll be more expensive that way...but it'll give you the best results.

It depends on what brand of paint you get. You can get some cheap stuff that might be just as good and cheaper than paintscratch...then again you might not get it for cheaper. Price varies from brand to brand. I work at a store that sells paint...we sell PPG. I'd either recommend PPG or Dupont...those are probably the top 2 brands of paint out there. A little pricey...but worth it.
