Default Lip Material

Well I am having trouble finding a lip I like in urethane material, all the ones I want are in abs (ww rs and mugen v2 on jdmshit.com). I am lowered about 2" all-around, how hard a time would I have if I went ahead and bought an abs plastic front lip. I know they crack and what not kinda easy but not having much luck finding either in urethane. What do yall think?

if your already dropped so low, with a lip, you will be scraping A LOT more, so look for the polyerathane

i'm on B&G springs and TOkico Illuminas, now i just added a ww w-type front lip....i AM SOOO LOW, i only have about 2 inch clearance at the bottom, i can barely get my foot under

so instead of wasting money on the abs/fibreglass, only get the poly

ABS is a lot more resilient than you think. I have a "Type-R" lip from jdmshit.com and I've scraped the hell out of it and it still holds it's shape. Granted the paint is practically non-existant on it, but it's not like it's cracked and falling off of my front bumper.

The only thing I'd be concerned about is that you install it well (double sided tape and screws) and that if fits snugly onto the lower part of your bumper.

my mugen wannabe abs lip from ebay has held up well. i am careful so ive only scraped it once real bad but no real damage done, it just had to be pressed back down into place. the two screws holding it in place towards the middle are gone (ripped out from the scrape) so now its just being held in place with 2 screws on either end and some styrofoam blocks between the bottom of my bumper and the top of the holes of the lip (on the backside of the lip). this way if i scrape the styrofoam will just compress and the lip will slide up, then i can just press it back down into place and find some more styrofoam to keep it in place. my front tires are barely tucking under my fender, about 4" clearance between ground and lip. ive learned to avoid shit roads

Isn't that jdmshit.com, which he says he's visited?
