Default Pin Stripe Fade?

I have a 97 integra with a pinstripe. i want to remove it but i am not sure if my car is faded and there will be a darker stripe left behind. The car is black so i am not sure fading is a problem. What do you think?

Good idea. Its just that its kind of hard to tell, i think i will wash it really well and then have another look. But it is possible for a black car to fade then? Thats probably a stupid question but i just dont know what it would fade to... grey? Anyway, thanks for the response

There might be a dark stripe. Try polishing the entire car and waxing it after ur done.

yea its possible, ... actually its probably very likely it is a different color, try nicking just a bit off the end and see just how different it is?
